WEDDING STATIONERY INFORMATION
Mem's Design Shop offers a variety of upgrades, choices, and prices on all individual wedding stationery items. This allows you to tailor your wedding package according to your needs and budget.
All of the designs can be altered or designs can be combined or you can even have a new design customized just for you. There is no additional charge for personalizing an existing invitation with slight changes. However, changes that significantly alter the overall design will incur additional charges.
Every wedding invitation design has coordinating wedding stationery items to help ensure the perfect seamless theme starting from save the date/invitation all the way to the reception.
PAPERS + PRINTING PROCESS
All wedding stationery items (except Save the Date Magnets and items from the Metallic Collection) are digitally printed on a high quality ink-jet printer. They are also printed on your choice of high quality Neenah heavy weight card stock 110 lb. white with smooth finish or 100 lb. white with linen finish. Please note that 80 lb. paper will be use for programs, seating/place cards, menu cards, flavor tags, and thank you cards.
Wedding stationery items from the Metallic Collection are digitally printed on a high quality laser printer. They are also printed on your choice of light color Stardream metallic papers. Black Ink is the only ink color that can be printed in this collection and it must have at least one layer of backing.
Save the date magnets are digitally printed by a high quality commercial printer. They are printed on heavy weight paper with a protective glossy UV coating and fully mounted with a high quality extra thick magnet. The magnet is also UV coated to prevent any scratching to the surface that it is put on.
Mem's Design shop also offers a variety of paper colors for backings, belly bands, pocketfolds, etc. The most preferred paper for the backing or other upgrades are Stardream papers. They are 105 lb. cover weight and have metallic and pearlescent finish. Smooth and Linen finish paper are also available in many different colors. Their weights range from 80 lb. to 65 lb. cover weight.
Complementary to Mem's Design Shop clients, all of wedding stationery items will be assembled free of charge before they are shipped. All you have to do for your invitations and inserts is to put them in a set before sending them out. If you're ordering invitations with folders or invitations with pocketfolds, Mem's Design Shop will put all of your inserts in the folder or pocketfold before it ship.
Everything that happens after the email or the in-person consultation affects the timeline for your order to be ship. The main factors for the delivery time on each order are size, the complexity, how many changes you request, how quickly you respond, and my work load.
Depending on the size and complexity of the project, orders will typically be shipped within 1-3 weeks after your final approval and your final balance is paid. Save the Date Magnets will be shipped approximately 2-3 weeks after your final approval and your final balance has been paid. Please keep in mind that it might take longer than 3 weeks during wedding season or orders that have a ribbon incorporated into the wedding stationery item(s).
DIGITAL INVITATIONS AND ANNOUNCEMENT INFORMATION
Digital invitations or announcements are personalized invitations or announcements in a high resolution jpeg format. PDF format is also available upon request. You can choose the dimensions: 4.0” x 6.0”, 5.0” x 7.0”, or other “similar” size. Personalize the designs by changing the font, color, and message in any way that you like. All of the designs can also be converted and used for any occasion that you may have.
The price for one digital file in 4.0” x 6.0”, 5.0” x 7.0”, or other “similar” size is $16.00. There is no additional charge for personalizing an existing design with slight changes. However, changes that significantly alter the overall design will incur additional charges. Please keep in mind that a 6.5% sales tax will be add to the pricing for florida residents.
Digital invitations or announcements in other sizes such as 8.5” x 11.0” are available. Please contact Mem's Design Shop for pricing.
You can use the file to print your invitations at home or at any photo lab that you prefer. You can even send your personalized invitations or announcements as an attachment to your email or upload them to your social network websites.
You can choose to make your payment with PayPal or with personal check.
A full payment is required prior to starting the project for orders under $100 and orders that are not in a wedding packages.
Wedding packages require a 50% deposit in order to begin working on the proofs. Deposit is non-refundable, but it will be applied toward the final balance. After the final proofs have been approved by you, the remaining balance should be paid prior to the start of production.
Please keep in mind that Mem's Design Shop will charge a 6.5% sales tax to Florida residents.
Payment Method 1:
Mem's Design Shop will send you an invoice via PayPal. Payment with PayPal can be made online using any major credit card. You do not have to have a PayPal account to complete the transaction.
Payment Method 2:
If you have a PayPal account, you can send your payment directly from your account to Mem's Design Shop account. The email address to enter in the send money form is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Payment Method 3:
Making payment via personal check. Please request the shipping address for the check via email or contact form and make check payable to Mem's Design Shop. Please keep in mind that payment via personal check will take longer time for it to be clear. Mem's Design Shop requires payment to be cleared before any proofs will be generated or any orders will be put in production.
Rush orders are handled on a case by case basis and can only be accommodated if the schedule is permitted. There may be a rush fee depending on the size of the order, timeframe, and schedule. Please keep in mind that rush fee for your order may be added – we will let you know what that fee would be once we have the details of your order.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
All items will be shipped via USPS First Class or Priority Mail. Wedding samples will be shipped within 2-3 business days of payment receipt via First Class Mail. Wedding Packages will be shipped approximately 1-3 weeks after final balance is paid via Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation. Please contact Mem's Design Shop for the pricing of other types of shipping. Please note that Mem's Design Shop is NOT responsible for damages incurred during shipping.
For shipping outside US: Mem's Design Shop is NOT responsible for any customs charges, taxes, or additional fees that your order may need once it has reached your country.
Wedding Package Cancelation: Cancellations made before proof approval will be subject to a fee of 35% of the total purchase price—plus any additional custom fees charged. Wedding package deposit is non-refundable after the design(s) are approved. Wedding package balance is non-refundable after the production begin.
Digital Invitation or Announcement Cancelation: In the event that an order must be cancelled during the proofing period, 40% of the full price will be refunded. There will be no refunds once the design(s) are approved.
Mem's Design Shop is not responsible for how colors or designs appear on an individual customer's screen. Please note that your monitor's calibration affects what you see on your screen. Colors appear differently on different computer screens and will looks different from computer screen to printed product. Mem's Design Shop proofs are only meant to be a visual tool for proofing, and are only a rough draft of the final printed pieces. If product or ink color(s) are critical, please order sample prior to placing an order. Mem's Design Shop CANNOT be held liable in anyway for color differences.
PROVIDED TEXT POLICY
Customers are responsible for making any and all necessary corrections before indicating their approval to send the job to production. Mem's Design Shop does NOT proofread and is NOT responsible for errors in spelling, grammar, and/or mistakes overlooked by the client during the proofing process. No order will be sent to print without your approval. Please review the proofs for accuracy and mistakes before approving the proofs.
PROVIDED IMAGE POLICY
Mem's Design Shop requires a high resolution photo (300 dpi or more) for save the date magnets and other items. If you're using a digital camera for your own photo shooting, please set your camera at the highest pixel setting along with the highest quality setting. Always send the original photo from your digital camera without any editing or cropping. Do not submit a link or send a photo from an online photo service. Those photo services store original photos on their servers and only show lower resolution versions. Mem's Design Shop can work with a lower resolution photo, however we cannot guarantee or be responsible for the print quality of low resolution photos.
Mem's Design Shop will perform complimentary light touch-ups on every photo; including brightening, sharpening, cropping, and removing red eye. Any photo that requires more than light touch-ups will incur an additional fee. You will be informed of what the fee would be prior to the start of your photo touch-ups. All color photos can be converted to black and white or sepia tone for no additional charge.
By providing Mem's Design Shop with your photo, you agree that you are the photographer or have permission documented by the copyright holder. You also agree to take full responsibility for any misuse of copyrighted images and agree to not hold Mem's Design Shop liable for any misuse of any copyrighted photos.
Due to the nature of these products, Mem's Design Shop cannot accept returns or exchanges of personalized items. In order to keep the costs down, Mem's Design Shop cannot be responsible or cannot be held liable for color differences as well as spelling, grammar or design errors made by the customer; including low-resolution images uploaded by customer.
If Mem's Design Shop has made a mistake on your order, please contact as soon as possible since your item(s) may be time sensitive. Instructions of how you can ship the mistake item(s) back will be sent to you. Mem's Design Shop will replace your order immediately free of charge after receiving the mistake item(s).
UNIQUE + EXQUISITE WEDDING STATIONERY
House envelopes are 70 lb white envelopes with smooth finish and square flap. Other colors, sizes, and materials for envelopes are available for an additional cost.
WHEN TO ORDER WEDDING STATIONERY ITEMS
Save the Dates: As early as possible or at least 6 to 8 months in advance.
Invitation Sets: Recommend 5-6 months or at least 3-4 months before the wedding date.
Ceremony Programs: Best to order with the invitations or at least 4-6 weeks in advance.
Menu Cards: Recommend 4-6 weeks before the wedding date.
Seating/Place Cards and Table Cards: Recommend 4-6 weeks before the wedding date.
